Quadratic Staking
Quadratic Staking is a mechanism that allows individuals to stake their iDNA coins and receive rewards based on the timing of their identity verification. Previously, iDNA was paid out based on the timing of identity verification, but it has now been changed to be paid out through staking. By staking iDNA, individuals can enhance the security of the Proof-of-Person consensus mechanism. To stake iDNA, individuals can follow the steps outlined on the Idena website(https://www.idena.io/ja/staking). By staking their coins, individuals contribute to making the distribution of rewards fairer. This ensures that smaller stakes receive higher APY (Annual Percentage Yield). As the staked amount increases, the APY itself tends to converge. You can refer to the image below for a visualization of this convergence: https://gyazo.com/e005918e51182237e66666b1435ab8ce.
